Senior Capstone
Senior Capstone
| My capstone is a digital project that accomplishes a personal goal of producing my first original song, complete with a music video and cover art using methods of audio production, film production, photography, and graphic design. The song was created entirely from scratch, marking it my first time producing music. I wanted the song to evoke feelings of nostalgia and innocence. The music video follows a girl working on her senior capstone while pausing to daydream about her past college experiences. Flashbacks incorporate old camcorder footage from my own time in college, giving the project a personal feel. The cover art features a film photo I took of the girl in her freshman year, and in both the video and cover art, she wears the same pair of shorts, visually linking the two and highlighting themes of change and continuity over time. Overall, the project explores memory, self-reflection, and the bittersweet experience of looking back on a meaningful chapter of life. |
